MG ROAD
M. G. Road is also one of the busiest roads in the city and is lined on one side with retail stores, food outlets and restaurants. It runs from Trinity Circle at one end to Anil Kumble Circle at the other. It has many office buildings, shops and theatres. It is also a home to a large number of buildings and banks.

Presently it is being improved and prepared for the long-awaited Metro Rail line that connects the eastern part of Bengaluru with the west.

Many Indian cities (including New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata) have an M. G. road, and in general there is no linkage between these various roads (except that in many cases, these happen to be the busiest part of the city).

M.G. Road is adjacent the Museum Road and the Brigade Road. It is also pretty close to a shopping area called the Commercial Street

Another major road that connects the Airport Road and Old Madras road is the busy 100 Feet Road, which forms an important link to the Intermediate Ring Road, contains a lot of life style showrooms and cafes. The small but affluent "Defence Colony" with its large bungalows, and neat tree-lined lanes is located along this stretch. Indiranagar is now slowly transforming into an important commercial hub, with a lot of small and medium sized companies setting shop here. Quite a few of the old houses have given way to apartment buildings and shops, particularly on the eastern portion of CMH Road between 80 and 100 feet roads. Work on the Metro Rail started in July 2008 and the width of road currently available for use is very limited and not recommended for vehicular traffic.
